Energy Logserver SIEM version 7.6.0 introduces several significant changes. The system is becoming increasingly intuitive while maintaining its flexibility and outstanding performance. The simultaneous deployment of implementations across multiple regions of the world necessitates system standardization and clarity.
Here’s an overview of what’s new in the latest version:
MSSP License
Simplified source management in the licensing model for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), ensuring transparency in log source review. The “Pay as You Grow” concept now offers convenient handling, allowing the service provider to decide what falls within the scope of security monitoring.
Source Management
The system now allows for identifying the activity of individual log sources. Regardless of the MSSP operating mode, the system inventories sources, providing insights into their characteristics and activity. A source can be identified not only by its IP address but also using details such as an application ID or file name.
Development of UEBA (User Entity and Behavior Analytics)
The UEBA module enables tracking the activity of workstations and users. The system runs pre-configured algorithms in the background, recording behavioral profiles of organizational employees. The development of UEBA brings new visualizations and attributes available in the SIEM module.
The generated trends are further analyzed using UEBA AI methods. This marks the first step toward anomaly detection in user behavior with the Empowered AI engine.
Additionally, SIEM Energy Logserver 7.6.0 introduces a series of enhancements, including field correlation in alert methods, new audit capabilities for SOC operator activities, and improved error handling in the archive module. We continue to develop the Energy Logserver SIEM LITE version, designed to deliver Cyber Security protection functionalities for small-scale infrastructures. Upgrading SIEM LITE to a full-performance version is as simple as switching the license key.
